There are 4,000 cable homes in Sunriver. Along with the approximately 2,800 permanent residents, there is anywhere between 10,000 to 15,000 a month temporary residents/tourists in June-September
Cable Networks

HGTV stands for Home & Garden Television. This network consists of numerous home improvement, maintenance, renovation, gardening, craft and remodeling shows.
CNN stands for Cable News Network. CNN introduced the idea of 24-hour television news coverage, and is still considered a leader in both national and international news coverage.
Fox Sports is a leader in sports broadcasting, with regional sports channels across the nation. In Sunriver, Fox Sports Northwest is the channel, with carriage of Seattle Mariners baseball, Pac-10 university sports and other regional events.
ESPN is an American cable television network dedicated to broadcasting sports-related programming 24 hours a day. In addition to the nightly SPORTSCENTER recap, ESPN carries many top events including NFL Monday Night Football, College Football and Basketball, the National Basketball Association and Major League Baseball.
Lifetime is a cable network devoted to movies, sitcoms and dramas geared towards women or featuring women in lead roles. In addition, Lifetime airs many original movies.
Turner Network Television is a cable TV network created by media mogul Ted Turner. TNT programming is geared slightly more to men, with action movies and dramas such as “Law and Order”, along with some NBA Basketball and other sports.
The Golf Channel, (TGC) is a cable television network with coverage focused on the Game of golf. TGCfeatures a range of golf programming and is now the exclusive cable home of the PGA Tour, excluding the majors. In addition, TGC televises most of the Senior PGA Tournaments including The Tradition, live from Sunriver in August.
TBS is an American cable TV network that shows sports and variety programming with a focus on comedy. Shows include Seinfeld, Everybody Loves Raymond and Friends. Starting in 2007, TBS will carry all the Major League Baseball Division Series games and one of the two League Championship Series.
